Before founding the Crazy Ones® community and the Talent Concierge® Label, or becoming a C-Suite executive, long before I was cleaning houses. 

I’m a southern gal born in Louisville Kentucky. Born to an unwed mother who I am proud that she continued her studies and graduated rather than leaving school. She later married and moved us to Pennsylvania where I was left to be raised by my new father’s mother and the oldest of 20-cousins. He, being my ‘new’ father turns out I was the family secret for forty-eight years. 

Being raised by my grandmother gave me the daily responsibility to care for the family - cook, clean, care for the younger cousins, picking up odd jobs around the neighborhood to help support us. I was being groomed to quit school at the age of sixteen. Little did anyone realize I was being groomed to be an entrepreneur. 

No one would hear my words that I was being sexually abused by family members and my grandmother would die before by sixteenth birthday giving me the freedom to stay in school. I became a rebel, couch surfer with family and friends, working a full-time job, while finishing high school. Put 110% into everything I did so I wouldn’t have to be at home. Became a pom-pom girl and even dated the quarterback.

I used my savings to attend any seminar that would show me how to leverage an online business. I had become a seminar junkie. But that was the problem, they were only telling us what to do, or why to do it, none of the courses or seminars were showing us ‘how’ things needed to get done to build a business. That’s when I knew what I needed to do. Create a business that would show people the ‘how’ to develop a successful business that would bring them a lifetime of wealth. 


With the support of my family we cashed out getting rid of all material possessions. No more country club memberships, no more Yacht Club, no more gym membership, and no more eating out. No more multiple cars in the driveway… All this extra stuff gone! We think we need these things, but it only brings us to be a slave to someone else. UGH! Some serious belt-tightening. 


Then it happened, in seven days I made a sale. It was not my greatest sale, but a sale none-the-less. Then more and more, then I was hitting five-figure months. There was a strong momentum. I started building a team when my fabulous husband moved us to Southern California and the business crashed. In my mind the move would be transparent, but it was not so. I had to rebuild because even though I was building my online business, I was still providing many services close to home. 


It was like starting all over again- worst of all was the emotional torture. Was this it, did I have to go back to working for someone else. My head was hurting, this couldn’t be happening. I’ve had the taste of freedom and living my ideal lifestyle and I would be crushed to go back to a full-time job. But I applied anyway and told I was overqualified. 


Then my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I decided to take some time off from ‘me’ and focus on someone else. She reminded me of my gift to helping others go after their dreams and that I must do the same for myself. She has since passed and I started living my dream. Because one thing mom would always say as she continued her weekly line dancing with her lady friends, never die with your music still inside you.

And the life that I’ve chosen to design on a daily basis together with my family. I believe we are the authors of our own life, and I’m blessed for the adversity I’ve faced. It makes me appreciate my life now and have compassion for others who suffer in a much bigger way.

There was a time I was being groomed to quit school, today I bring the education to you. I’m here to provide you the tools by activating your brand and turn following your dreams into reality.
